FLORIDA IN JANUARY…

TEMPTING, HUH?

Sure, the weather is great now, but think ahead to next January.

THINK FLORIDA!

Think award-winning beaches, fun family attractions and world class museums, championship golf courses, and unique shopping and dining.

Think about a world of aquatic activities—boating, fishing, swimming and diving in the warm, clear waters. Think about enjoying a spa by the seashore or tropical waters, or golfing under the warm Florida sun.

Think about sharing all of this with your family and friends. But don’t wait until next January to THINK FLORIDA!

Begin your marathon training NOW if you want to run the Walt Disney World® Marathon on January 22, 2001. The race will start at 6 a.m. at the Magic Kingdom and finish under Cinderella’s Castle. This is truly a magical race, offering its participants the unique experience of running down the streets of Disney’s four theme parks. The race will continue through the EPCOT Center, from the Land Pavilion to the Living Seas Pavilion and then on down the World Showcase via the United Kingdom, France, Japan, Morocco, Italy, Germany, China, Japan [sic], Norway, Mexico and Canada. From EPCOT, you’ll head to the Disney Hollywood Studios, and then to the Disney Animal Kingdom Park.

The course is relatively flat with only minor hills at the beginning and end of the race. It is one of the most beautiful and exciting marathons in the country. The quality of aid stations is outstanding and the spectator support from Disney Cast Members is enthusiastic and plentiful.

If interested, call the Walt Disney World Marathon Hotline for more information at (407) 939-7810 or visit the Marathon and Beyond booth (Booth #436) at the Marathon Expo for entry forms and race details.

Also, there will be a half-marathon option (October/November 2000 race) starting and finishing in the Magic Kingdom.
