Travis Barker is smitten with Kourtney Kardashian after she took part in his first-ever running event, “Run Travis Run,” held in Los Angeles on Saturday, July 6.

Kourtney, 45, joined the 48-year-old Blink-182 drummer to help promote his event, which he said was to inspire people to get outdoors and stay active. “I don’t want it to be discouraging. It should just be fun,” Travis told People Magazine before the event. “I feel like everyone can get out and do 5Ks. Even if they see this, and they don’t run it, maybe it motivates them to get outside.”

Photos from the event showed Travis congratulating Kourtney with a kiss as she crossed the finish line.

“My wife’s a beast!” he said following the event. “She’s never done this [before]. She thinks I’m crazy because some mornings I’ll wake up, and she’ll be like, ‘Where are you going?’ I’m like, ‘I heard there’s a 5K, babe, I’m gonna run it.’ It was really cool to have her be a part of it. It was awesome. It was everything I imagined.”

Barker also discussed his personal workout routine, which, alongside his runs, includes a 30-minute walk while listening to an audiobook or podcast, both in the morning and evening, to aid his sleep. “Wellness and working out are crucial for everything I do,” he said.

Kourtney, who had her first son with Travis last November, revealed that their shared love for exercise started before their romantic relationship.”We would always work out together and run together or do stuff like that together before we were ever in a relationship — we were workout buddies forever,” she explained.
