The athletics program at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games runs from Monday, July 27 to Saturday, August 1 at EDF Scotstoun Stadium, across twelve sessions. The full timetable is packed with field events, para events, and the combined disciplines, but if you only want to know when the races happen, here’s the track schedule, distilled to the open running events.
Each day has a morning session starting at 10:00 and an evening session starting at 18:30. The published schedule lists events by session rather than by exact start time, so we’ve grouped them that way. All times are British Summer Time and, as always with a championship timetable, subject to change. Finals are in bold. (Note: the two 10,000m race walks are held on the track, so they’re included here; para and field events are not.)

The Finals Worth Circling
The closing night is the one to clear your evening for: Saturday’s Session 12 packs both 4x100m relay finals, the men’s 5,000m, both One Mile finals, the men’s 800m, and the Mixed 4x400m relay into a single session. Friday night is nearly as loaded, with both 200m finals, both 400m hurdles finals, and the women’s 800m. And the distance crowd gets an early treat, with the women’s 10,000m decided on the very first evening.
