Quincy Hall Comes From Behind To Win Men’s 400m Olympic Final

Sitting in fourth for most of the race, it seemed for a second Hall might have been out of the medals.

The men’s 400m final brought together the eight-fastest athletes over the distance for one final lap of the Stade de France to crown a new Olympic Champion.

Americans Quincy Hall and Michael Norman were both vying for the top spot on the podium, coming in as race favorites tonight.

However, it was Hall who came from behind to be crowned Olympic Champion by a hair over Great Britain’s Matthew Hudson-Smith.
