Oz Pearlman was the fastest of the celebrities and public figures who ran Sunday’s New York City Marathon, finishing in 2:37:43, a little over six minutes per mile, according to the finish times New York Road Runners released on Monday. The mentalist, who covered more than 116 miles of Central Park loops in one day in 2022, finished more than 13 minutes ahead of anyone else on NYRR’s list of 59 notable runners.

Only three others on that list got under three hours, and two of them teach for Peloton. Alex Karwoski ran 2:51:17 and Matt Wilpers 2:54:37, while the filmmaker and YouTuber Casey Neistat came in at 2:57:25, just 16 seconds quicker than he ran here last year. James Milner, the former England midfielder, raised money for his own foundation and finished in 3:09:04. Jennifer Connelly, who shared top billing with Milner when NYRR announced its celebrity field in October, ran 3:40:09.

A handful of the reality TV regulars were back from 2025, and most of them were quicker. Zac Clark of The Bachelorette took 23 minutes and 31 seconds off last year’s time to finish in 3:04:02, and the Broadway actor Jordan Litz, now playing Fiyero in Wicked in London, improved by more than 27 minutes to 3:13:48. Carl Radke of Summer House broke four hours with only five seconds in hand. Matt James, who finished less than four minutes behind Clark a year ago, ran 3:45:37 this time, more than 41 minutes adrift of him.

Joe Amabile’s 5:03:39 was well over an hour slower than his 2025 race, and it came less than three months after surgeons at NYU Langone removed a tumor from his brain on Aug. 5. It was his third New York City Marathon, run for Release Recovery, the organization Clark founded.

For William Goodge, 4:05:01 in New York was the last of 50 marathons. The British ultrarunner used the race to finish Mission America, his run through every U.S. state, and completed all 50 marathons in 23 days. NYRR says nobody has run a marathon in every state faster, and CBS News reported that he had secured a Guinness World Records title. He raised money for Stand Up To Cancer, in memory of his mother.

Peloton sent the biggest group, eight instructors in all, and their times ran from Karwoski’s 2:51:17 to Ash Pryor’s 8:29:13, with Robin Arzón in between at 4:13:37. Seven ran with Team Maybelline, among them Tayshia Adams (5:11:02) and the author and actor Zarna Garg, whose 9:21:51 was the last time on NYRR’s list. Many of the names were also fundraising, part of the more than $100 million NYRR’s charity runners had raised before the start.

Meredith Kopit Levien, the chief executive of the New York Times, and Diane Brayton, its chief legal officer, crossed the line one second apart, in 5:11:38 and 5:11:39, as part of a team of staff running for journalism education in the paper’s 175th year. Tiki Barber, the former New York Giants running back, finished only 10 seconds behind them.

There was a tight finish in the Catfish household. Laura Perlongo ran 3:29:14 and beat her husband, the show’s host Nev Schulman, by 34 seconds, and Sam Judge, who is married to the Yankees All-Star Aaron Judge, slotted in between them at 3:29:44 while raising money for KultureCity. Dylan Efron, running with New Balance, was the quickest of that cluster in 3:28:11.

Rich Roll, the ultra-endurance athlete and podcaster, spent 6:05:30 on the course as a guide for Cedric King, who ran with Achilles International. Noelle Lambert, the Paralympian and former Survivor contestant, finished in 6:38:14, while season 48 winner Kyle Fraser and his castmate Mitch Guerra both ran for the Chelsea Piers Foundation, Guerra finishing first in 4:43:23 and Fraser in 5:03:07.

The middle of the list fell at Antoni Porowski of Queer Eye, who ran 4:22:15 for City Harvest. Harry Styles, who closed his Madison Square Garden residency the night before the race and had plenty of runners wondering whether he would start, does not appear on it.
