Team USA has revealed their official uniforms for the 2024 Paris Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Designed by Ralph Lauren, as it has been for the last nine Olympic Games, these uniforms scream classic American style.
For the Opening Ceremony, the athletes will don navy blue jackets paired with light blue striped dress shirts, beige suede shoes, and the best, most American part…a classic pair of blue jeans.Â
The jackets feature red and white stripes along the edges, wrists, and above the pockets, with the U.S. Olympic team logo on the right and the Ralph Lauren logo on the left. The jeans and dress shirts also display the team and Ralph Lauren logos. Accessories include a navy blue tie, an American flag belt inscribed with “Team USA,” and shoes adorned with the flag.
The Closing Ceremony outfits are predominantly white, featuring a moto-style denim jacket and jeans, a polo shirt, a hat, and the same belt and shoes from the Opening Ceremony.Â
The white jacket includes a red, navy blue, and light blue stripe across the center, with an American flag on the left sleeve and the number 24 on the right. The stripe also features the “USA” inscription and badges reading “24 Team USA” and “Team USA.”
Both the U.S. Olympic team and Ralph Lauren logos are above the stripe, with “team” on the right shoulder and “USA” on the left. The white pants have “Team USA” and an American flag in blue lettering, and the polo mirrors the jacket’s stripe and badge design. The hat combines red, white, and blue colors with the team logo and “2024” on the front.
David Lauren, Ralph Lauren’s Chief Branding and Innovation Officer, highlighted the blend of fashion and sport on a global platform. Sarah Hirshland, CEO of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee, praised the designs for capturing American style and embodying Team USA’s spirit and pride.
What The Fans Are Saying

The new Team USA uniforms for the opening ceremony look great. People complaining about the use of jeans miss what has always been great about American style—its sense of casualness.
