We’ve tested pretty much every marathon racing shoe that’s entered the market in 2024, and there’s one model that we keep coming back to, both for fast training runs and races (particularly 5Ks and 10Ks): the Asics Metaspeed Sky Paris.

The Metaspeed Sky Paris is aptly named, as it will be featued on the feet of Asics’ athletes running the marathon at this summer’s Olympics. But our reviewer Alex Cyr found that the Metaspeed Sky Paris was just as quick and responsive in a 5K as during longer marathon pace efforts.
