The 2025 Marathon Project took place on Sunday, December 21, in Chandler, Arizona, closing out the year’s professional marathon calendar on a fast, flat, looped course at Wild Horse Pass. The event was the race’s first edition since 2020 and featured a professional elite field alongside the time-qualified Gold Wave.

Below are the full professional results for both the men’s and women’s races.

U.S. athletes who ran under the Olympic Trials Marathon Qualifying (OTQ) standards are highlighted.

Gold Wave Results

The Marathon Project also hosted the Gold Wave, a time-qualified amateur race capped at 1,000 runners and held on the same looped course.
